Bootleg is a gorgeous card game featuring the fast-paced life of a rum runner in historic, Prohibition-era America. The alcohol is all gone, and it is up to you to give the people what they want! Challenge up to four of your friends as you each race to collect enough sets of booze to satisfy the populace of a roaring American city and catch a sweet ride to get there. Just remember, the first one there gets the business while the others get caught! Use your connections with the crime families and famous gangsters to sabotage your opponents and bolster your own operation. And if you’re feeling lucky, your whole situation could change with the roll of the dice using the exciting underground casino cards!
This simple to learn, competitive game for two to five players is a great way to liven up any game night. No two games are ever the same as you strive to pull off the most profitable bootleg operation each round!

The 1920s were cool. I mean, REALLY cool.
Being a big history buff, the Roaring 20’s is the time I find to be the most fascinating. It was a different age - The unique styles, music, ground-breaking world events, and inventions… the ’20s had it all.
When I started brainstorming ideas for game themes, I knew I wanted to create something that would whisk the players back in time to those days of rum-running and turf war gangsters. I knew the look, and gameplay had to match the gritty nature of that time period. I also wanted to create a game that involved strategy, but didn’t take hours to learn to play…
BOOTLEG® was born.
Creating a set-collecting-based game wasn’t enough though – Adding inside games and dice play, helped to make the experience as unpredictable as bootlegging in the 1920’s itself. With so many ways to strategize against your opponents, each time you play is a unique experience.
So grab some friends and a few cases of booze – it’s time to play, Bootleggers!
